Yak City Signs a Two Year Extension With the Oil
— Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) April 13, 2015
Just two days into the offseason and MacT is already outperforming my expectations. I assumed that he would do something insane like trade our favourite little Russian goofball. Now Yak can go over to the World Championships and score a thousand goals without having to worry about a new contract. The only problem with the bridge deal is that it’s definitely going to make it a million times harder for the Oil to sign him on a long term deal after he sets the NHL record for goals over the next two seasons.
Yak with 100 next year. Take it to the bank.
